silk on canvas

this was all the happiness i felt with the new leaves and buds of the season. it’s a mix of traditional and crape silk, two very different materials with very different personalities. crape stretches a little and doesn’t fray, traditional silk keeps it’s integrity but doesn’t allow much of experimenting. together i believe they find balance as long as they’re understood.
